Oh Peachy that sounds horrible! I can't imagine living with neighbors like that. Want me to come up there with some good ol' 'Bama boys and take out the trash..?

We aren't allowed to carry guns up here - not like you guys do!! Different laws in Canada. Unfortunately.

Wow neighbors that are attacking from across the street. I do not believe the guy will simply "go away" if you ignore him. It sounds like the woman and kids are overwhelmed and afraid and will do his bidding. He sounds like the worst kind of coward using his kids as attack minions. I do think there is a lot to be said for a public acknowledgement of what is going on....especially if the police and social services will not do anything....Good luck to you and stay safe.

Hey Mum, sorry you are going through all this...and why won't the police do anything about it? Do you have a video camera? If so, then you can record all the goings on, and show that to the police...I would have it running around the clock incase he decides to do anything to you or your family...people like him scare me, because you never know what they will do...I don't know how the law works in Canada, but if you have something on tape to show the cops, then they might take some action...just a thought...I really hope yall will be ok...take good care kitcat

I am just baffled about the Police!! What exactly DO they DO in your town?! A person was attacked and they do nothing? Do you have a Mayor, and if so is he , or she involved enough to make things happen where the police are concerned? If not, call your state Congressman (or woman) w/signatures from residents wanting something done about this man. If that does'nt work, call Oprah!! I would'nt quit making calls, even if I had to call the Whitehouse! I'd say some new Policemen need to be hored for your town as well. I would'nt rally around the "nutbags" house, I'd get everyone to rally around the police station, and the man who was attacked should file suit against them as well. Good luck...this is horrible! Please keep us posted.

New development: They've poisoned our friends' dog - they had to take her to the vet this afternoon and the vet has confirmed that she was poisoned!

What will their next step be???

Oh Peachy... what a horrible man. I hope you and the neighbors in town can come up with a good idea to handle this. Maybe one of them could keep an eye on your house and kids when you have to work? I don't know what to tell you, I hope it works out with no one getting hurt, and no more pets poisoned!

OMG! That's terrible Peachy! Damn, what to do? Sheesh, it must be so dang frustrating. I'll keep you in my prayers. When I hear stuff like that I just start thinking those terrible thoughts. Like envisioning ways to "off" the MoFo. Then I remeber to calm down and BREATHE. Anyway, take good care, stay safe and I hope that bastard leaves ASAP! Be strong ~ Trixie
